Frequently Asked Questions

Q: [What kind of video camera's can I use.]

A: Just about any kind of camera will work from VHS to the latest technology.  Some of the formats are VHS, Hi8, MiniDv, HD.  If you are unsure please call.  See Contact

Q: [How many cameras can I use.]

A: Usually 3 camera's will do a top notch job.  Just remember to take some cut-away shots of the people attending so that we can add them in during the ceremony.  An example of a cut-away is a shot taken of a couple staring towards the front of the church.  We can edit that in as part of the ceremony showing the couple looking at what would be presumed the ceremony.  Again please call.  I will be delighted to help with the shooting of the ceremony.  Contac us at.

Q: [What should I do before, during and after the wedding.]

A: Remember the more complicated it gets the more it will cost for editing.
Ideas:
1. Plan where the cameras will be during rehearsal.  Rehearsal is also rehearsal for the camera people.
2. Decide what to have on the DVD such as shower, post wedding photo opportunity with family and wedding party, rehearsal and good wishes from family and friends while standing in front of camera.
3. Do not take snapshots. Pull right into the subject.  Zoom in and zoom out when appropriate.
If your not sure call, we can help.  Do not dust your camera off just before the wedding.  Get familiar with it  again and practice, practice, practice.  There are no second chances at a wedding.  If you blow it, it will be gone forever.
